2013 Ector County Livestock Show

Its that time!  The Ector County Livestock Show is upon us.  It's time for our hard working 4-H members to show off their livestock projects.  This year will prove to be one of the best, with the biggest rabbit show Ector 4H has ever had!  Also awaiting spectators will be excellent swine, lamb, goat, & beef projects.  Come and support Ector 4-H members and their families by attending the show!  Below is a list of times and schedule of events. Tuesday, January 8th
Mandatory Exhibitor Meeting - 5:00 p.m. - Barn E (Ector County Coliseum)
Livestock Show Set-Up 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Thursday, January 10th
9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. - Barns open for livestock arrival & unloading
4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Rabbit Weigh-In - Barn E (all rabbits must be in barn & weighed in by 7:00 p.m.)

Friday, January 11th
8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Barns open for livestock arrival & unolading
                                     (All livestock must be in barn by 4:00 p.m.)
4:00 - 5:30 p.m.           Steer & Swine Weigh-In
5:30 - 6:00 p.m.           Lamb & Goat Weigh-In
6:00 p.m.                     Rabbit Show (Meat Pens, Fryers, Showmanship, PeeWee Showmanship)

Saturday, January 12th
7:00 a.m.  Barns open
8:00 a.m. Scholarhship Interviews
9:00 a.m. Swine Show (Duroc, Hamps, OPBs, Crosses, Grand & Reserve Selection, Showmanship)
10:30 a.m. Lamb Show (Medium Wool, Grand & Reserve Selection, Showmanship)
11:00 a.m. Awards Program (Herdsman, Top Hand, & Scholarships)
11:30 a.m. Goat Show (Market Meat Goats, Breeding Does, Breeding Bucks, Showmanship)
12:00 p.m. Tenative Lunch Break
12:45 p.m. Beef Show (ABC, British, Exotic, Grand & Reserve Selection, Heifers, Showmanship)
10:00 p.m. Barns Locked
